For sale is an exceptionally beautiful pair of Edward Green Beaulieu shoes.
Beaulieu is one of those classic models from the house of Edward Green that rarely appear on the market today. Nowadays, this model is only available made-to-order through the "Customize a Pair" service — a circumstance that underscores its special position within the collection all the more clearly.
As a 5-eyelet austerity brogue Oxford, the Beaulieu combines the balanced lines of a classic full brogue with the refined restraint of the austerity style. Instead of the usual perforations, it features striking decorative stitching whose gentle curves give the shoe depth, character, and a very distinct elegance. "The finest things never force themselves upon you."
Crafted on the 82 last, designed by Tony Gaziano, the Beaulieu exhibits that slim, finely sculpted shape for which Edward Green is so highly esteemed. The harmoniously tapered toe, the elegant waist, and the sculptural overall appearance make this model an Oxford of remarkable presence — distinguished, full of character, and yet highly versatile.
