Thanks to this work, SKE pays homage to Goldorak, mythical figure of Japanese animation and true generational icon. Created in the imagination of the 70s and become cult among several generations, Goldorak remains associated with an entire universe: Actarus, Euphor, Vega, the Golgoths, Fulguropoing, l’Astérohache, Cornofulgure, the Spacecraft, the Centre de recherches spatiales and the struggle between Earth and extraterrestrial forces.

This composition celebrates the 50th anniversary of Goldorak, 1975–2025, blending Japanese aesthetics, calligraphy, codes of vintage manga and the energy of contemporary street art. Mount Fuji, vertical writings, golden splashes and spray effects give the work a dimension that is ceremonial, pop and urban at the same time.

SKE revisits here one of the most powerful symbols of Franco-Japanese popular culture. The robot appears as a monumental, almost sacred figure, between childhood memory, commemorative poster and contemporary pop icon. The drips, textures and painterly gesture bring a modern reading, faithful to the street/pop universe of the artist.

- BIO ARTIST:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double reading, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year 2025, the value of SKE has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE has been selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and also featured in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place in the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also asserts himself on the market for digital works, a major trend of the last two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors.

AN ENVIRONMENT BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY The work of SKE is part of a prestigious lineage. One finds in his line the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to divert the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetic of "Hype": one encounters sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes reminiscent of Jeff Koons’ glossy finish or the facets of a Richard Orlinski.
