The Macallan Edition series continues with the 5th release, and this one is all about the natural colour of the whisky! Celebrating the natural colour of the whisky, imparted by its time maturing in oak casks, Macallan teamed up with Pantone to create a rather fetching shade of purple which features on the label and presentation box. Very snazzy stuff.

Nos
Toffee apple, gruszka w syropie, wytrawne nutki szałwii. Przebłyski czystych nut cytrusowych.

Palate
Na podniebieniu bardziej orzechowy, gdy się otwiera, pojawiają się orzech włoski i makadamia. Następnie przechodzi do owoców z sadu, plasterka miodu i kopnięcie dębowego czarnego pieprzu.

Finish
Toffi, cedr i cytryna.
