For sale is a gorgeous vintage/antique silver-plated serving platter featuring a heavily detailed Rococo-style rim. The edge is beautifully sculpted with ornate floral blooms, flowing asymmetrical scrollwork, and classic shell motifs.
The underside is stamped with British pseudo-hallmarks, including the "N" and "S" makers marks designating it as high-quality Electroplated Nickel Silver (EPNS). This piece is perfectly sized for use as a tea/coffee service tray, a holiday dining platter, or a stunning vanity display for perfumes and barware.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with a beautiful aged patina. There is surface tarnish and light scratching consistent with age and honest use, which gives it wonderful historic character. No major deep dents. Can be polished up to a bright mirror shine if desired by the buyer.
