Nirona Portable Gramophone – Marshall Pianissimo – Germany – Working
Vintage portable Nirona gramophone, made in Germany, housed in its original black suitcase-style case.
The gramophone is equipped with a Marshall Pianissimo soundbox/reproducer and a blue felt-covered turntable. The speed control is marked 78, with Fast/Presto adjustment.
The gramophone has been tested and is working. The spring motor winds correctly with the original crank, the turntable rotates and the gramophone plays records.
Original period components and fittings are present, including the Nirona badge, metal tonearm, crank handle and suitcase case.
The gramophone shows visible signs of age and use, including wear, dust, scratches and oxidation/patina to some metal parts. The interior felt also shows age-related wear. Please examine the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
