This is a woodblock print artwork titled "Irohanioedo" by Sentaro Iwata, a Japanese painter and illustrator representing the Showa period. Artist Profile:
1901: Born in Tokyo.
1914: Moved to Kyoto after graduating from elementary school. Studied Japanese painting and design under Keigetsu Kikuchi and others.
1920: Worked on illustrations for newspapers and historical novels, becoming a popular painter.
1961: Awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon.
1974: Deceased.
