Collected in RDC, obtained from a succession in 2008. This is the second version of a painting in the collection of the late Sindika Dokolo, made in the same week at the same location. Chéri Samba or Samba wa Mbimba N'zingo 30/12/1956, works in Kinshasa . I bought this painting in 2008 in Kinshasa, the legacy of a former general. Chéri Samba made a lot off copies of his works, with the help off his brothers, most have smaller size than the original, presented by André Magnin, the curator off Jean Pigozzi. .
