Biography :

"Born in 1969 in Paris, France, The legendary street artist, Invader took his name from the 1978 arcade game Space Invaders. Pixelated mosaics of square ceramic tiles inspired by game characters, adorned upon walls and structures across the globe, Invaders art shows pieces full of love and wittiness. Invader’s works can be found on their collaboration with URBAN NATION on works are featured as a part of the opening of URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.

Invader created his first installation in Paris in 1998. This was a character from 1978’s Atari game and soon after he ‘occupied’ 31 cities throughout France, 65 cities in general and 33 countries. Pac-Man, all of the 8-bit characters are some of the art figures that will always be connected to his name. An amazing of how anonymously and globally popular his artwork has become. Sometimes all we need is a bit of fun and a nice reminder of our youth while walking by the gray streets. He does this so uniquely managing to emphasize that it is what he does and not who he is that is important. He presents a new art form that is more than just a museum or institutional display. His invasion cube waves will evolve in a same way he does giving a bit more aesthetics to the spaces he chooses."
