The piece stands on three ornate legs with clawed feet and opens into two parts, retaining its original interior cup. The sculptural quality of the rooster and the overall design show strong late Victorian to Art Nouveau influence. The surface displays a gentle patina consistent with age, with light surface wear and minor scratches from normal use.
