GREEN BOHEMIAN CRYSTAL VASE – HEAVY HANDMADE ART GLASS
Height: 35 cm | Weight: approx. 3.5 kg
This impressive vase is crafted from massive green Bohemian crystal, distinguished by its substantial weight, flowing sculptural form, and striking optical structure. The rich green coloration transitions beautifully into a clear, solid base, creating a dramatic play of light and depth.
The vase was hand-shaped directly from molten glass using a blowpipe, without molds. Every curve and contour was formed by hand, making each piece a true one-of-a-kind object with its own character and presence. The result is not merely a decorative item, but a glass sculpture with strong visual impact.
This piece originates from the traditional production of the renowned Czech glassworks Egermann, based in Nový Bor – the historic heart of Bohemian glassmaking. Egermann glassworks proudly carried the legacy of Fridrich Egermann (1777–1864), one of the most influential figures in Czech glass history and the inventor of the famous Egermann overlay (Lasur) technique that made Bohemian glass world-famous.
For generations, Egermann stood for precision craftsmanship, artistic integrity, and prestige, producing glass objects that were exported and admired worldwide. Today, authentic Egermann hot-worked glass pieces of this kind are becoming increasingly rare, as this traditional form of production has come to an end.
Specifications:
Height: 35 cm
Weight: approx. 3.5 kg
Material: solid hot-worked Bohemian crystal

Ideal as a statement piece, collector’s item, or luxury interior object
⸻
This vase is more than an interior accessory – it is a bold glass sculpture that embodies the strength, beauty, and heritage of true Czech glassmaking. A rare opportunity for collectors and admirers of authentic Bohemian art glass.
