The 2020 edition has been matured in a unique combination of 30% bourbon, 30% rum, 25% sherry and 15% port casks, resulting in a creamy nose of toffee and cereal notes interspersed with bursts of freshly picked strawberries and ripe watermelon. The palate is robust and steadfast with a dry, creamy oiliness. Sugared almonds are heavily present as well as a dash of cinnamon. The finish is creamy with an evolving length which coats the mouth and finally gives up its peaty origins. Only 3300 bottles of Springbank 21 Years Old 2020 were released.
