​Deze opname is rond 1924 gemaakt door de belangrijkste Nederlandse picturalistische fotograaf, Henri Berssenbrugge. Het negatief is een prachtig voorbeeld van zijn artistieke stijl en meesterschap in belichting.

​Extremely rare original large-format glass plate negative (13x18 cm) featuring the famous Russian prima ballerina Vera Nemtchinova, star of the legendary Ballets Russes.
​This portrait was captured circa 1924 by the leading Dutch pictorialist photographer Henri Berssenbrugge. The negative is a superb example of his artistic style and mastery of light.
