This magazine and book stand was designed by Giotto Stoppino and produced in Italy during the 1970s / 80s. Stoppino was among the pioneering designers to explore plastic as a primary material, a direction that later became closely associated with brands such as Kartell. The stand features six compartments arranged across three staggered levels. A circular cut-out in the center of the top tier functions as an integrated handle, allowing the piece to be moved easily. This example is the larger version, manufactured in ABS plastic. Condition is good, showing minor surface scratches and spots consistent with age and use.
