Vintage Mut Kelim – Anatolian Flatweave – 281 × 177 cm
Vintage Mut kilim originating from the Mersin region in southern Anatolia, woven using traditional flatweave (kilim) technique.
This piece features a classic diamond lattice composition filled with stylized star motifs, a design strongly associated with Mut and surrounding Taurus Mountain villages.
The deep red ground is contrasted with multicolored geometric motifs in blue, yellow, pink, and ivory tones, creating a vivid yet well-balanced visual rhythm. The border and end finishes display additional symbolic elements, reinforcing the tribal and ethnographic character of the kilim.
The kilim is preserved in good vintage condition, with clear patterns, strong colors, and no significant restoration. A fine example of regional Anatolian weaving, suitable for both collectors and decorative use.
