Inspired by M C Escher's masterpiece of dimensional illusion, 'Drawing Hands' (1948). 'Hand Drawn' was made at art school in England in 1986 long before the days of computer-aided manipulation of imagery. It was originally shot on a single sheet of 10" x 8" colour transparency material using masks both inside and outside the camera. Dominic Rouse is an English fine art photographer who began his career as a photojournalist in the mid-1970s.
