It feels as if architecture has been liberated from the subjectivity of its planners and designers, permitted to simply lie there as part of the environment. Once architecture's position as the subject is emptied in this way, one sees how various objects and events, neighboring buildings, views from the site, daily life, plants, and even models crowd together, creating a unique landscape for each building. Architecture thus becomes an opening onto the world.
