Eighth release of the Bowmore series from the Elements of Islay line. This is a vatting (mixture) of whiskies distilled between 2001 and 2003. It has matured for at least 16 years in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry barrels. Bottled at "Full Proof" (full grade) with a gradation of 51.2% vol. Size: 50 cl bottle. Production: Produced and bottled by Elixir Distillers in London. This is a limited circulation of about 1320 bottles. This line uses symbols similar to those of the periodic table to indicate the different distilleries in Islay (e.g. Cl for Caol Ila, Lg for Lagavulin, Ar for Ardbeg). Each number (in this case 8) indicates a specific release or batch of that distillery.
