Historical Context The Battle of Austerlitz (1805) represents the pinnacle of Napoleon’s military genius and one of the most symbolic moments of the First French Empire. Objects directly connected to the Emperor’s personal surroundings during the campaign, as well as to Imperial military emblems such as flags, are extremely rare and highly sought after.
