Offered here is Fly! 2K (2000), the ambitious and technically advanced civilian flight simulator that redefined realism at the turn of the millennium. Although the outer packaging references Windows PC, this particular CD-ROM set carries the Macintosh logo on the discs, and all three CDs have been tested successfully on Mac OS 9. The software installs and runs correctly in the classic Mac environment.

In the pre-internet era, games for the Apple Macintosh platform were scarce compared to their PC counterparts. This makes original Mac games increasingly desirable among collectors today. Offered here is  — a true time capsule from the golden age of PowerPC Macs.

Released in 2000, Fly! 2K pushed the civilian flight simulation genre forward dramatically. As Computer Gaming World famously stated: “Fly! has advanced the civilian flight sim genre by two generations.”

With its detailed physics engine, satellite-based scenery, and advanced navigation systems, Fly! 2K was considered one of the most realistic and technically sophisticated flight simulators of its time.
