魚蒲 - Natsume - Træ - Kōdai-ji-stil maki-e

A captivating Japanese tea ceremony natsume (tea caddy) in the Kōdai-ji maki-e tradition, where jet-black urushi becomes a night sky for luminous gold. On the lid, a refined chrysanthemum crest blooms in soft gold with warm vermilion accents—like sunset light caught on lacquer. Around the body, autumn leaves drift in elegant gold maki-e, creating a poetic seasonal story: kiku (nobility) and momiji (transience), perfectly suited to chanoyu. This piece is signed by Gyohō (魚蒲) and comes with its original tomobako (wooden storage box), making it a wonderful collector’s lot and a tasteful display piece for a tea room. 【Size】 approx. Height: 5 cm Width: 8.5 cm 【Important Shipping Notice】 Due to the situation in the Middle East, shipping delays or returns may occur for certain countries and regions. If a parcel is returned after dispatch, we regret that we will be unable to resend it, as no alternative shipping method is currently available. In that case, the order will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. Please bid or purchase only if you understand and accept these conditions. 【Shipping】 This item will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking and insurance to ensure it arrives safely. It takes about 3~4 weeks to receive normally. 【Notice】 Please note that customs fees, taxes, and any charges are the responsibility of the buyer. We appreciate your understanding. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. 【Additional Information】 If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact us. 192
