Authentic face veil (Niqab) from the Harb tribe (Banu Harb), originating from the Hejaz/Asir regions of the Western Arabian Peninsula. Traditional hand stitching in red, yellow, orange, and white silk threads on a black cotton base. The lower section features an original, coarse-weave linen strip with authentic fraying, confirming genuine tribal use (not a modern souvenir). Wide, reinforced frontal band decorated with geometric metallic appliqués. Decorated with an authentic Yemen Arab Republic 1 Rial coin (1970-1974) and multiple cast metal pendants and spherical jingle bells. The arrangement of the metalwork is typical of the 20th-century "jewelry-wealth" display of Harb women. Pendants and bells made of White Metal (Tribal Silver alloy), characteristic of 20th-century Bedouin craftsmanship. Size of the veil: 25 x 19 cm. Excellent ethnographic condition. The textile and the metal parts show a natural, rich patina. Professionally museum-mounted in a silver-toned frame with a double acid-free mat. Frame size. 49 x 43 x 6 cm. 2.4 kg.
