This Namiki Yukari Grapevine fountain pen features the Togidashi Maki-e technique, where Hira Maki-e techniques are used to create the main design. Then, the body is completely covered with Urushi lacquer, and after drying, the design is revealed by polishing the lacquer with charcoal, with an 18k "M" bicolor nib.
