Team Mapei authentic cycling jersey as worn by Johan Museeuw in 1996. Mapei was an Italian-Belgian cycling team that existed from 1993 to 2002. Mapei was one of the strongest teams during the late 1990s, and ranked as the strongest UCI team in 1994–2000 and 2002. The team was especially successful in one-day races and cycling classics. This was most prominent at the classic race Paris-Roubaix, where the entire podium was filled with Mapei riders on three occasions (1996, 1998 and 1999). Other prominent riders at the time were Franco Ballerini, Andrea Tafi, Abraham Olano and Tom Steels. The jersey is in very good condition. Size is L, see the photos for the exact measurements.
