The pen was also tested for flow dynamics with water and ink and it writes beautifully. According to the MB catalogues of the 70s, the nib is fine (F class) and of unhooded type. The ballpoint uses the standard Montblanc ballpoint refill available in stores. I included the factory one which is dry but serves as excellent reference for convenience.
