Viking era, sold silver finger ring with integral oval bezel, decorated with punched circular and crescent motifs. The shoulders are decorated with linear decorations and X-marks. The ring band is slightly tapering towards the back. Outside diameter: ± 23,9 mm Inside diameter: ± 19,6 - 17,1 mm Bezel: ± 7,7 mm Condition: very fine condition, wearable. Soft smooth patina and signs of wear consistent with age and use. Certificate of Authenticity: available upon request (pdf-format). Laboratory analysis (e.g. XRF) is not routinely undertaken in private collecting, and destructive testing is avoided as it causes permanent damage to archaeological material.
