An elegant early 19th-century French silver beaker made of high-quality 950 silver. The piece bears the Minerva 1 hallmark, indicating French silver of superior fineness.
The maker’s mark shows the initials “PF” with a cup and two stars, attributed to Pierre Hippolyte Fournerot, silversmith in Paris (37 rue Michel le Comte). This hallmark was used between 1833 and 1857 (Beuque, p. 330).
The beaker features a clean, classical shape with a slightly flared rim. Its polished surface reflects its surroundings beautifully, highlighting the fine craftsmanship.
