A simple and stylish Dutch Art Deco wall mirror, made in the Netherlands, circa 1920s–1930s. The frame appears to have been handmade, which gives the mirror much of its charm. It is not perfectly symmetrical: the oval has subtle curves and small irregularities, suggesting it was shaped by eye rather than by mechanical precision. This gives the piece a warm appearance. The design is elegant without being ornate: an elongated oval wooden frame with a warm brown finish, surrounding an oval mirror plate with a faceted bevel around the rim. The bevel catches the light beautifully and gives the piece a refined Art Deco touch, while the wooden frame keeps the overall look sober and modernist. This is a well-made and sturdy mirror, modest in design but very useful in an interior.
