Bruno Paolo Benedetti - Sunlight Reflections - 1/30

Bruno Paolo Benedetti, født i år 1954, begyndte at tage billeder, studerede perspektiv og fototeknikker i år 1968. Siden begyndelsen var han optaget af sort-hvid-fotografi, observerede naturens kontraster, lysene og fortolkningen af realiteten omkring ham. Da han var 25 begyndte han at arbejde i mørkekammeret, forbedrede sin teknik ved brug af filtre, højkontrastfilm for at lave sine første billeder af surrealistisk og abstrakt fotografi. Samtidig begyndte han at rejse rundt i Europa og verden: Indien, Nepal, Bhutan, Sydamerika, Sydafrika, Egypten, Komor-øerne er nogle af de mest besøgte steder. Studiet af religioner, mystik i alle dem, inspirerede hans kunstneriske produktion, især hans surrealistiske fotografi, hvor kulturelle og religiøse arketyper skildres.
