A Roman Bronze Double-Bezel Ring, 1st to 3rd Century A.D.
Attractive and unusual Roman bronze ring with a distinctive double-bezel design formed by two prominent rounded bosses, measuring approximately 2.0 × 1.9 cm across the top. The two raised circular elements sit side by side on the shoulders, creating a striking and symmetrical profile. The ring shows a rich dark green patina with lighter bronze highlights in the recesses.
Rings with this double-bezel or “twin boss” style were popular during the Roman Imperial period. They were worn as personal adornment and sometimes incorporated glass or stone inlays (now missing). This type reflects the Roman taste for bold, sculptural jewelry.
Material: Bronze
Bezel Dimensions: approx. 2.0 × 1.9 cm
