Islamisk Bronze Ring - 11. til 13. århundrede e.Kr. (Ingen mindstepris)

An Islamic Bronze Signet Ring with Calligraphic Bezel, 11th to 13th Century A.D. Impressive bronze signet ring with a large oval bezel (approx. 2 × 1.2 cm) deeply engraved with intricate interlaced motifs and stylized calligraphic or pseudo-Arabic script. The engraving is finely executed and stands out beautifully against the dark patina. The thick, robust hoop shows an attractive dark brownish-green patina with golden-bronze highlights on the raised surfaces. This is a high-quality and visually striking example of medieval Islamic jewelry. Rings of this type, featuring calligraphic or geometric bezels, were popular during the Seljuk and early Ayyubid periods and were used both as personal seals and as prestigious adornments. Material: Bronze Bezel Dimensions: approx. 2 × 1.2 cm Provenance: Acquired in Germany from a German private collection, formed in the 2000s. All items come with CoA
