A Roman Bronze Signet Ring, 1st to 3rd Century A.D.
Heavy Roman bronze signet ring with a large oval bezel measuring approximately 1.9 × 1.8 cm, finely engraved with a stylized motif (possibly a bird, eagle or symbolic figure). The thick, robust hoop shows a rich dark patina with attractive greenish tones.
Rings of this type were commonly used as personal seals for documents or as everyday status symbols throughout the Roman Empire. The substantial size and engraved bezel are characteristic of the Early to High Imperial period.
