Green cloth binding with wear to exterior, as shown, boards are detached and held together by cloth tape. General marks and scuffs, some discolouring to cloth, lacking spine strip. Ffep, half title and frontispiece are detached. Pages with 14 plates, 12 of which are hand coloured, and illustrations in the text. A handful of hand drawn and coloured original sketches loosely inserted, by Samuel Lucas, they appear to be originals of illustrations in the text. Age toning and some occasional spotting, otherwise pages are generally clean, as shown.
