Set of three antique folding fans with wooden and cardboard elements from a pre-war collection.
1. Hand-painted Victorian period fan with floral decoration and pierced heart-shaped details. Wood and paper construction. Length: approx. 22 cm (8.7 in).
2. Folding fan with finely carved wooden sticks and embroidered fabric leaf, probably of Eastern or Oriental inspiration. Length: approx. 22 cm (8.7 in).
3. American patriotic folding fan with United States flag decoration, dating to the early 1900s. Cardboard and paper construction with printed decoration. Length: approx. 22 cm (8.7 in).
The fans require varying degrees of restoration and conservation, but all major elements are present.
