Distilled in 2002, it spent the first 12 years in a Bourbon barrel, followed by a second maturation in casks from a sweet, Portuguese, fortified Madeira wine for the next eight years. This limited edition 20-year-old single malt Irish whiskey comes from the Teeling distillery, located in the heart of Dublin. This single cask 20-year-old version is bottled at 53.6% ABV and in its natural color. Teeling Vintage Madeira whiskey has a sweet flavor and a plum-leather aroma, enriched with flavors of vanilla, cinnamon, almonds, and Christmas cake.
