Beskrivelse fra sælger
John Lobb UK 9 E Limited Edition 2004 Prestige St. Crépin Ultra Rare Oxford – Ny
Hailing from John Lobb's prestigious Saint-Crépin line, this exceptional pair dates back to 2004—one of the annual editions with which the house has honored the patron saint of shoemakers since 1996.
Within the John Lobb universe, the Saint-Crépin models occupy a truly special place. They represent a deliberately concentrated form of craftsmanship and are released only in strictly limited quantities. Older vintages in particular are exceptionally rare to find today, let alone in brand-new condition.
As is traditional for Saint-Crépin models, this pair is individually numbered, bearing edition number 65. Due to the passage of time, the exact total production run for 2004 can no longer be definitively verified; however, for the Saint-Crépin models of the past three years, John Lobb has limited production to 500 pairs worldwide.
This pair is crafted on the elegant 8000 last, which has long been celebrated within the world of John Lobb for its particularly sophisticated and graceful silhouette.
This is precisely where the unique appeal of this series lies: while an MTO (Made-to-Order) model can generally be reordered to customer specifications, a Saint-Crépin edition remains strictly tied to its year of release, making subsequent reproduction impossible. Perhaps it is this quiet consistency that ultimately brings Shakespeare to mind: “To thine own self be true.”
Size: UK Size 9 E (EU Size 43)
External Outsole Length: Approx. 31 cm
Insole Length: Approx. 29 cm
Width: Approx. 11.5 cm
Leather / Outer Condition: Unworn (Note: minimal signs of fitting on the upper)
Heel / Sole: Unworn (Note: The shoes were tried on by the previous owner on a carpeted floor)
Miscellaneous: A rare testament to fine shoemaking culture, defined by poise, structural awareness, and that natural authenticity which only the genuine possesses. Original box and dust bags are not included.
