Large antique hand-forged iron padlock with original key, probably dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century. The lock has a very unusual cylindrical “barrel” construction with a heavy forged shackle and matching iron key. Entirely made of iron with strong rustic patina and authentic age wear. The mechanism still appears complete and the key fits into the lock. Sold as found, uncleaned and unrestored, preserving the original antique character.
