Beautiful large vintage Le Creuset cocotte from the 1970’s with the rare “Plume” enamel lid in a gorgeous deep brown color. A truly timeless French cast iron piece, both practical and decorative. This is a very large size 32 model, perfect for cooking generous family meals, slow cooked dishes, soups or stews. The warm chocolate brown enamel combined with the cream interior gives it that authentic vintage Le Creuset charm that is becoming harder to find today. The cocotte is in very good vintage condition overall. The interior enamel is clean and well preserved, with only light traces of use. The exterior still has a beautiful glossy finish, with some small signs of age around the edges and handles visible in the photos, consistent with a vintage piece from this era. There is also a small chip on the lid near the knob, visible in the pictures.
