After returning from internment in Siberia, Toshinobu Onosato established his style of continuously drawing circles, based in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. "Silk-105" is within this context, depicting countless grids (mosaic-like squares) and repetitive compositions of circles within a 30 cm square. It features a faint stain on the margin.
