Bust of Willem III – King of the Netherlands facing right. Legend: “WILLEM III KONING DER NED. G.H.V.L.” Engraver’s initials “J.P.S.” below the bust.
Reverse:
Crowned Dutch coat of arms with lion holding sword and bundle of arrows. Denomination “1 G” at the sides, with date “1865” above. Legend: “MUNT VAN HET KONINGRIJK DER NEDERLANDEN.” Mintmark and privy mark: caduceus and sword.
