A lot of 6 Viking Small Bronze Fibulas 9th-11th century A.D. A fine lot of six Viking bronze fibulas, each of penannular form with round-section or twisted hoop and raised terminals. The group includes examples with disc and polygonal finials, incised with linear decoration. The fibulas vary in size and detail, forming an attractive selection of Viking Age dress fittings. The lot is in excavated condition, with age-related surface wear, green and brown patina, encrustation, and minor distortions, yet retaining clear and highly decorative forms. An appealing and authentic group of Viking Age bronze ornaments, ideal for collectors of Norse antiquities, early medieval jewellery, or archaeological bronze artefacts. 2.4 - 3.4 cm.
