Colefax & Fowler chintz bomuldstof. Ca. 3 meter. - Betrækstof - 3 m - 1.35 cm

This beautiful “Hydrangea” chintz fabric by Colefax & Fowler was originally made up as a classic Austrian blind for a period property in the U.K. The house was refurbished and later sold, leaving us with the blind, which has since been carefully taken apart. You are therefore purchasing three matching pieces of fabric, each measuring approximately 105 cm in length and 135 cm in width. These panels are currently offered as-is, making them ideal for light upholstery projects such as chair seats, cushions, or decorative accents. However, if you would prefer to use the fabric for curtains, I would be happy to join the three panels horizontally, creating a single curtain of approximately 250 cm in length. This alteration will be done free of charge. Additionally, a matching tie-back in the same design is included at no extra cost (see last photo). This particular chintz design is one of around ten iconic patterns that have remained in the Colefax & Fowler collection since the 1930s, originally associated with Sybil Colefax. These designs are still highly regarded today for their timeless English elegance. The brand’s historic showroom on Bruton Street in Mayfair continues to reflect this enduring heritage. The fabric is suitable for a range of traditional interior applications, including: Lined and interlined curtains Austrian or Roman blinds Swags and tails Light upholstery For reference, current Colefax & Fowler chintz fabrics retail online at approximately £145 to £195 per metre, making this a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine piece at a much more accessible price.
