This is a gilt bronze White Tara statue - Bronze - Kina (Ingen mindstepris)
This is a gilt bronze White Tara statue. It was built by the Palace Museum's architectural department and is one of the statues in the Six-Rank Buddhist Hall. The Six-Rank Buddhist Hall was a Buddhist hall within the imperial palace, specifically for enshrining Buddhist statues. All the most prestigious Buddhist statues were enshrined here. The statues are arranged in eight rows from top to bottom. The top row of statues is the rarest and most renowned. This White Tara statue is from the top row and is exquisitely carved. Its face is compassionate, and its overall appearance is noble and elegant. This piece is extremely rare and worthy of collection. Furthermore, the gilding on this White Tara statue is very thick, and the back is inscribed with "Donated during the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty."
