An exquisite and highly collectible sterling silver year pendant from the prestigious Danish silversmith Georg Jensen. This is the sought-after 1996 Heritage Collection Pendant, featuring the iconic and romantic "Grape" motif.

Unlike many other year pieces, this specific 1996 design holds a special place in Georg Jensen history: it is based on an original 1937 archive masterpiece by Harald Nielsen, one of the most important and influential designers of the workshop.

The pendant showcases a beautiful Art Nouveau-inspired grape bunch hanging gracefully beneath stylized leaves. The reverse side is just as beautifully crafted, with the bail cleverly designed to mimic a curling grape vine. It features Georg Jensen's signature oxidation, which provides a stunning contrast and gives the silver incredible depth and character.
