A very rare antique Chinese porcelain Moulded and Fluted Plate with a central decoration of the Earliest Sybilla Merian design on Chinese porcelain consisting out of Intrinsic Peonies, Blossoms, Fruits and Floral Patterns painted in a stencilled manner in amazing deep cobalt blue. Extensive geometrical floral motifs in the outer rim.
Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1690). On the backside a decoration of eight Buddhist treasures and Ruyi patterns. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Diameter: 27,2 centimeter
Condition: The object is in excellent condition, a couple of glaze bites only. No hairlines, or any restorations. Checked with UV light.
