Longines - Flagship - Ingen mindstepris - 8634 2 - Mænd - 1960-1969

Longines Flagship - 8634-2 - Manual Wind Cal. 6922 - ca. 1974 - 34mm Longines Flagship, case reference 8634-2, from the mid-1970s. Stainless steel case of approximately 34 mm, powered by the in-house manual-wind Longines caliber 6922 with sub-seconds at six. The Flagship line launched in 1957 as one of Longines' core dress collections. This example belongs to the early-1970s generation built around the caliber 6922 — one of the last Longines in-house movements before the brand moved to shared ébauches. The 6922 is a fast-beat 28,800 vph caliber with a subsidiary seconds dial, a layout that by the 1970s had become uncommon outside higher-end houses. The blue/grey sunburst dial and slim faceted lugs place it firmly in the period dress-watch idiom. - Movement: Manual wind, Longines Cal. 6922, 17 jewels, 28,800 vph - Case: Stainless steel, ~34 mm (excl. crown), brushed finish, snap back - Dial: Blue/grey sunburst, applied baton indices, applied Arabic 12/3/9, sub-seconds at 6 - Crystal: Acrylic - Strap: Black leather, aftermarket (not original), ~18 mm - Functions: Hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds - Water resistance: Untested for current vintage seal - Year: ca. 1974 Condition is honest vintage. The case is unpolished with crisp lug geometry and a signed Longines crown. The dial retains its original blue/grey sunburst but shows age-related spotting across the surface and a patch of discoloration near the 3 o'clock chapter ring — visible in the macro images. The acrylic crystal is clean. Fitted on an aftermarket leather strap. The movement winds and runs strongly, keeping good time over a 24-hour test, with all functions operative. From a private collection. No box or papers. Shipped fully insured, tracked, and signature-required worldwide shipping available on request.
