Leonidas (Heuer-Leonidas S.A.) - Vintage Mechanical Chronometer - Ref. 603.601 - WITH ORIGINAL BOX - 55 mm - Circa 1970 - Men's - 1960-1969

Description: Absolutely flawless, museum-quality vintage Swiss mechanical chronometer from the legendary manufacturer Leonidas, dating back to the iconic era of the Heuer-Leonidas merger (circa late 1960s/early 1970s). This model is a time capsule, preserved in perfect visual and working condition, along with its original factory box.

Historical significance and mechanism: What makes this specific chronometer extremely collectible is the mechanism. After opening the caseback, the main bridge is proudly stamped with "HEUER - LEONIDAS S.A." , emphasizing the direct historical connection to what TAG Heuer is today. The high-quality Swiss movement has 7 jewels and is stamped with the inscription "Seven 7 Jewels . It is surrounded by its original, bright neon yellow tension ring, absorbing shocks and sealing dust.

Dial and case:

Dial: Flawless, fresh white dial with main 60-second counter and upper 30-minute sub-register. Signed "LEONIDAS - 7 JEWELS" and "MADE IN SWITZERLAND". The blued steel hands are in perfect condition.

Case: Solid and robust chrome-plated case with professional screw-down caseback with a matte "sunburst" finish.

Diameter: 55 mm (excluding crown).

Weight: 123.6 grams.

Original Box: The chronometer comes in its original blue and black Leonidas cardboard box. The side of the box retains its authentic factory label with the reference code: "Ref. 603.601" and "Made in Switzerland".

Condition: Perfect technical and cosmetic condition. The movement is fully functional, winds smoothly, and the start/stop/reset functions via the crown work flawlessly and return precisely to zero. There are no visible scratches on the crystal, no wear on the case coating. A true investment model in "new-as-new" (NOS) quality for any Heuer-Leonidas or motor-themed collection.

Will be packaged with extreme care and shipped worldwide with tracking and insurance.
