This special vintage was marketed for the first time in 2019 in order to sustain the aging of liqueur in the longest liqueur cellar in the world in Voiron. For regulatory issues, all production had to be transferred to Entre-Deux-Guiers, at a place called Aiguenoire. The "Liqueur du foudre 147" is sold exclusively at the Voiron boutique. "Liqueur du foudre 147" is a blended liqueur. To create this liqueur, the Carthusians made a selection of Chartreuse liqueurs with a strong profile which, once assembled, will prolong their aging in Foudre 147 in Voiron. The whole gives an unprecedented aromatic balance in which the vegetal is expressed on a soft base.
