European bronze dagger circa 1200-1000 B.C. A fine European bronze dagger with a leaf-shaped blade tapering to a rounded point, with a central rib running along the blade. The shoulders expand into broad plates, each pierced with two holes. The openwork grip has a long rectangular slot and ends in a flared pommel. The dagger is in good ancient condition, with age-related surface wear, minor marks, and areas of green patina, yet retaining a clear and attractive weapon form. An excellent and highly collectable Bronze Age weapon, ideal for collectors of European antiquities, early arms, or archaeological bronze artefacts. Length 22.1 cm.
