A small Bronze Age bronze spearhead, featuring rounded shoulders and a blade that tapers to a rounded tip. There is a very subtle midrib which develops into a short, flat tang. Patination and earthy encrustations to the surface. Chips to the edges of the blade. In ancient times a number of nomadic populations, such as the Medes and the Kassites settled in the Western Asiatic region. Due to the nomadic nature of the tribes, none of these bronzes were of great size, since it was required for them to be light and portable. Excavated items often included weapons, tools, and finials, as well as small amulets and fittings. Their artwork mainly comprises ornaments, vessels and weapons.
