It revives the legacy of the legendary original Hydro-Sub model from 1965, combining a retro-athletic design with modern standards of high chronometric precision.
Key Technical Features
• High-Precision Movement: It is equipped with the Edox 806 caliber (based on the reliable Sellita SW200 movement). The movement is officially COSC-certified (Chronometer), guaranteeing a precision of -4/+6 seconds per day. It has a power reserve of 38 hours and runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
• Case Construction and Dimensions: The case is made of 316L stainless steel, with a diameter of 42 mm, a comfortable thickness of 12.5 mm, and a lug-to-lug distance of 20 mm.
• Dial Design and Aesthetic Elements: This specific model stands out with a deep blue dial, elegantly contrasted by luminous hands and hour markers with orange accents. The dial features a discreet date window at the 3 o’clock position.
• Deep Water Resistance: It offers a pressure resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM) and is fully certified for professional diving. Protection against water ingress is ensured by a screw-down crown equipped with Edox’s patented double O-ring system.
• Premium Materials: The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides for maximum readability. The bezel is unidirectional and features a black ceramic insert that is extremely scratch-resistant.
